In the rebranding work for Marchisio Distillery, we focused on the uniqueness of direct fire distillation, aiming to reflect historically on the origin of this passion and make it iconic. Considering the competitive landscape, characterized by images that are typically sterile or tied to a rustic imaginary, we opted for a distinctive approach. Marchisio, despite being a young grappa embracing ancient traditions, was associated with the transversal archetype of the dragon, symbolizing purity and power, evoking the ancestral technique of fire. However, to make the brand appealing to a younger audience and encourage appreciation of grappa as a quality beverage to be enjoyed after meals, we reinterpreted this symbolism in a modern context. The goal of the rebranding is to broaden the appeal of the bottle and the brand itself, visually making the container appealing to highlight the quality of its contents and attract a wider audience.
